We finally found the perfect Designer that really touched on what we were looking for in our Store. After several attempts and hundreds of dollars we got it right! Big Hugs go out to Beach Bound Creations for the most amazing work! Great customer service and really has the nack for designing! On to the news around here. This has been along hard Winter for us. We have had the coldest temptures and Snow like you would not beleive. The most I have seen in years. This put a damper on our shipping time so hopefully this will pick back up and we can get back on track! We have also had several cases of the Flu and Strep so good ol` Grammy gets to babysit when they kiddos are home from school not to mention the Snow Days and we've had 11 of them! On top of trying to recover from my major Neck Surgery I have slowed down a bit in creating my wonderful goodies. Rest assured though I have found the time to create a New line of Witchey Beauty Products! I will be launching these sometime in Late Feb or early March! They will include some great Facial Steamers, Body Scrubs and Shower Scrubbies! I have also started to reintroduce the Votives and the Oils are comming back! As many of you already know we have reintroduced our Herbs and are stocking them so they ship out faster. They are offered by the ounce again! I just want to take the time to send out some special thanks to one who always makes my day when I am down! She is one of my guiding lights. In Love & Light Lady Starr Some People!Posted Dec-14-07 14:30:38 PST Wow have some people got nerve? Here's the sotry: I hired a couple girls to help with my packing and shipping and one of my buyers got shipped her items thru Parcel Post instead of Priority Mail trust me by Mistake from one of the new girls. So this woman writes to me and tells me this, so I politely refund her the shipping price which by the way was a whole $2.36 difference. Then I go to the post office today to mail my packages and the Postal Lady jumps all over me for using a Priority Mail Box and turning it inside out. WHATEVER I thought I do not turn my Priority Boxes inside out. It makes no sense to me to do that when they ship for a whole lot less. The lady at the Post Office told me that she was going to start opening my packages and checking them to see if they are turned inside out. I laughed and told her to go ahead. Now me being the person I am NEVER throws anything away. I keep all the boxes and Envelopes that I receive my mailings in and reuse them. Now the only thing I can think is that one of the Priority Mail envelopes that I saved got turned this way from one of the girls that helps with shipping. Well to make a long story short I BLOCKED this Buyer as she was really RUDE about the whole shipping deal and I can totally understand this but she really got out of hand so felt that I had to block her. The first EVER. So now that I blocked her she got mad because I won't sell to her anymore and turned this matter into the Post Office Yesterday a whole Month later. THE NERVE! I want to make this perfectly clear that I DO NOT MAKE ANY MONEY ON SHIPPING! I charge a very fair price and usually never over charge unless by mistake. Now I could charge for brand new boxes and envelopes and then pass this on to my buyers but that would just raise my shipping charges and hurt the buyer in the long run. So to the woman (and you know who you are) that did this just remember that I was the HONEST ONE in the matter and made right by the whole deal. And by the way WHAT DID YOU ACCOMPLISH ANYWAY? You got yourself Blocked, made every other buyers life miserable, and got me in trouble. Give the girl a hand (clap, clap,clap,clap) KARMA is such a nasty thing ya know! Sorry for the rant but I just had to let ya all know just how rude buyers can be sometimes. Blessings Starr |
