Combined Shipping Rules

The way combined shipping rules are displayed in the auctions is somewhat confusing. I think I am losing some sales because people actually think they are going to have to pay 7.50 for each single item instead of just adding $2 to the total shipping. The way it displays it shows the combined shipping rule then below that it says the basic shipping amount and each additional lot the same amount. Is there a way to change that so it displays the correct combined shipping amount or is that the way they all show up. I feel so dumb here. I know when I do up the invoices the shipping amounts are always correct, its just that amount showing on the auction so that if people don't see the combined shipping rule..... ah.....never mind me...I'm just ranting.

New Acquisitions

The peonies on my latest design proved to be even more rootbound and overcrowded than anticipated. The back of my station wagon is literally full of them. The poor ostrich ferns aren't in the best of shape and will go into a nursery bed to see what kind of condition they are in in the spring after some good care. The lilies of the valleys were even worse and again will go into holding beds for recovery. However an added bonus was old fashioned narcissus bulbs along an entire fence line. After some assessment a good number of the peonies are in great shape and the narcissus bulbs are good and healthy so probably be putting up auctions soon after some grading and cleaning! More to come as the job continues. This one's a challenge but I'm having fun so all is well. LOL

Question to all you other Bloggers!

Is there any way to add pictures to blog posts?

New Garden Design Job

I just got commissioned for a new garden design job. This one is totally out of control and Poison Oak is a huge issue in at least four of the beds. On the upside however this is an all new material redesign. I've been asked to take out all plants already there. So far I've identified several varieties of peonies, striped zebra grass, lilies of the valley and ostrich fern which will be coming out. So as I assess the health and quality of plants look for upcoming auctions!

First Successful Auctions

Being a new Ebay seller can be intimidating at times but the feeling of a successful end to an auction and a satisfied buyer is a wonderful thing. I have many interests but first and foremost I love gardening so to have something gardening related be my first success on Ebay was sweet and ironic. I must say thank you to all those who have left feedback for me, it seems not everyone does these days and the comments I received were so nice to read. I plan to continue to list garden related items and of course to buy them as well as I work on expanding my own gardens! There seems to be such an overabundance of jewelry and knit goods already on Ebay I think I will focus mainly on the gardening aspect. Thank you to anyone who happens to read this and happy Ebaying!
