Purchase items cheap at dollar store, like a witches hat, or a plastic pumpkin and use them as centerpiece. Black and orange paper plates and cups are always a hit and can be gotten cheap at most dollar stores as well.
You can use an inexpensive ice bucket or plastic bowl as punch bowl that and paper cups are a hit. Now remember Halloween is for fun so keep those little ones safe if they go Trick or Treating then make sure you follow some simple rules Always have an adult with the Children
Dress your children with clothing that has some of reflection material on it so that drives can see your children in the dark. Invest in small flash lights and have your children carry them with them turned on that will help others to see them as well as them to see where they are stepping. Tell your children no candy is to be ate till it is checked and explain why, Take that candy by nearest Hospitals most hospital will xray the candy free for items in it like needles that should not be in your child's candy. Remember if the candy wrap is messed with throw it out if your not comfortable with the area or house don't go there and for sure don't let your children eat anything you do not check and feel safe about first. If children are older make sure they do not go alone and set an area that they can go around to and a time to be at a meeting place or give them a cell phone and have them check in with you. Remember safety is important and teaching your children that communication and watching around where they are and who they are with and never walk off alone is important no matter there age.
I still suggest the home party this is a safe way to have fun with any age group and have the whole family or neighbors pitch in with the fun of decorating. Happy Halloween is a safe Halloween |
