Yogurt Making Using Fresh Ingredients AND MANY BENEFITS TO YOGURT
Yogurt eating is heathy and is great to add to any diet.There are many health benefits to eating yogurt it has a well balanced health benefit to all of us, so my Doctor says. It is a good source of Protein ,and many vitamins like vitamin B-12, riboflavin,and calcium for those bones. It has also been said by many it helps prevent cancer. Not sure that is proven but I will take anything that helps. It is great water supply about 80% supply I understand and a good source of milk supply. I have many tell me that is even milk senstive people tell me they can eat it with no problems I know I can but it would not hurt to try if you check with your Doctor first.
Yogurt is great to dip fruit, veggies, and to use as salad dressing instead of ranch dressing or other with fatting agents in them and it taste good, I love it. Frozen it makes a great dessert better I think then ice cream and sure not as many calories. lol Now if they made it in chocolate hummm maybe next time I will add some chocolate to it hummm sounds good.
Many Doctors recommend it to help with diets where you need to lower your cholosterol like me.
Fresh is best and add stuff to it make it the way you like it. Here is a recipe I use but you can change stuff up and put low fat milk or two precent up to you but I think this works best. I loved this so much I found a reasonable yogurt maker to put in our store that does not require electric so I could take it with me no matter where I went and make my own.

You’ll need:
Fresh and Natural Yogurt Maker
Measuring cup
Cooking thermometer
2T fresh, plain yogurt
1 Qt (32oz) fresh or UHT milk
use whole, 2 per cent or 1 per cent depending on whether you want regular or low fat yogurt)
Medium saucepan
Process:
Heat milk, in the saucepan, to at least 180F but don’t boil. Remove pan from stove and allow milk to cool to about 110F.
Stir in the fresh yogurt until it’s well blended into the milk.
Pour the milk/yogurt mixture into the inner container of the yogurt maker. Seal the container with the provided cover.
Pour boiling water into the bottom of the yogurt maker to the thin inside line but not over the top of the four plastic shoulders.
Place the container containing the yogurt mixture into the yogurt maker.
Place outer cover on the yogurt maker and let stand for about 12 hours. If you keep your house cool you might want to place a couple of tea towels under and on top of the yogurt maker while the culture is working.
Refrigerate the yogurt when done.
When you’re almost finished with the yogurt save a couple of tablespoons to make the next batch. That way you’ll only have to purchase the milk

Cooler Recipe
YOGURT Cooler - FRUIT FIZZY
nice summer cooler
2 cups ( your favorite yogurt) strawberry, peach, blueberry ect your choice
1 10-ounce package frozen fruit your choice strawberry, peaches, raspberries your choice
sugar and milk (optional)
Place yogurt and fruit in blender. Cover; blend till foamy. Add sugar to sweeten and milk to thin, if desire
Makes 4 (6 ounce) servings
Nice summer cooler
Here is a nice summer drink called
Yogurt Sip
1 10 ounce package frozen peach slices
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup peach brandy or other brandy
1/4 cup light rum
1 T. honey
ground nutmeg
Let peaches stand at room temperature 10 minutes.
Combine yogurt,brandy, rum, and honey in blender container. Add Peaches and syrup. Cover: blend till smooth. Pour into glasses, top with nutmeg. Makes 5 (4ounce servings)
