WILD WONDERFUL WORLD OF STUFFED PLUSH ANIMALS

CONCERN - VERY SIMILAR EBAY ID'S - OPINIONS NEEDED!

9/29  - I HAVE A QUESTION - or I guess asking an opinion - when someone starts on Ebay and their ID is SO VERY similiar to yours, SUCH AS stuffed-plush-animals, which obviously is me - (2687 feedback) VS plush-stuffed-animals - feeback (71), what is your opinion/input on this?

9/29 I am having a bad day, just received my first negative feedback - it was a first time customer and she said she is disappointed that what she thought was a large item is small.  I have a gallery photo, a photo in the description and the size of the stuffed animal listed directly below the photo - what's a girl to do?!?

9/30 Sorry folks, I originally wrote the ID for the other party incorrectly (wrote it the same as mine - duh!), I have corrected!!!

9/30 - Trying endlessly to communicate with the the FIRST TIME BUYER that left me negative feedback - I've 100% feeback for 2.5 years - still no reply!

all names are up for grab the only way to prevent similar names taken is to register under all pseudo names

I would leave neg for them. This way, they might be willing to have the neg mutually withdrawn. There was no reason for them to leave you a neg. I am either blind or you put the same ebay id twice. i do not see a diff between your id and the other.

i would email eBay (about the name..)

AND maybe about the feedback! the customer shouldn't be able to leave you neg feedback for her own mistake of not reading your auction listing. These days I'm getting bitchy, so if someone leaves me neg feedback for no good reason, i'm leaving it back for them.. sorry.

hope tomorrow is a better day!

There's probably not much you can do about the name of the user id, it's legal by ebay basically, and ebay will probably not intervene. But here's the good news: YOU have a terrific advantage in that you have an ebay store!! Your store name is the same as your user id (VERY SMART!), and because of that, on any given search page, YOUR store name will show in the right column if the buyer has that column 9show store name) active in their display settings, and your competition's name will not show ~ they don't have a store! Also, in your auctions you display your store header, so you brand every listing. I might only suggest one thing, and that is to maybe put TEXAS in caps after your city in the Item Location in the listing. Try to make Texas stand out a bit at first glance to help burn that in their memory.

So CHEER UP, they only have one item listed today, so they can't hurt you too bad!!! :o) Anyone who clicks on their items for sale will only find ONE, and your customers know they are looking for the entire petting zoo!! Your site is darling!

Hi everyone,

I am home from my trip to China! An unbelievable, amazing, awesome trip. Still tying to recover from jet lag, as I have been on a different time frame for 3 weeks. Hopefully a day or two I'll be back on track! China - visited 3 different cities. Shanghai, Hong Kong and Guangzhou. Amazed at Shanghai - every direction you look are skyrisers as far as you can see. The city was exceptionally clean and we were able to tour the city and see all the major landmarks and learn the history of the city. We attended the first toy fair in Shanghai, litte disappointed, rather small, but acquired some new sources for product. Bicycles EVERYWHERE! Loved the city. Hong Kong - again buildings, tall buildings every direction you look, but there the high risers are apartments, never seen anything like it. 50-60 stories high, unbelievable. You'll see new modern buildings next to very, very old unkept buildings. Again had the opportunity to tour the city and see both sides. I am still amazed at the port. Containers beyond belief, and this was one of only 9 ports in Hong Kong. Did not know that Hong Kong was an island! And China does not recognize Hong Kong's immigration. So, on our way to Guangzhou, we were stopped at the border trying to enter city and sent back to Hong Kong to get yet another Visa! This took up half a day and a few hundred dollars - but we had planned a day for travel, so it all went well. We had to purchase another Visa as a double entry, entering Shanghai as one entry, Guangzhou as one entry and then back to Shanghai to fly home as an entry, so lesson learned, always check how many entries into a country/city you may need!! The Fair (same as Market in the US) was amazing, HUGE and every product under the sun you can imagine, it is called Kenfair, one of the largest in the world. Great resources and beneficial trip. Quite expensive in Hong Kong. Guangzhou - it was the 100th anniversary of the Canton Fair. Again HUGE and anything

oops ran out of space - I am known to be long winded! In regards to driving - they are all over the place and lanes mean nothing! Of course bicycles and motorcycles everywhere. We again had the opportunity to tour the city and some outer cities. I was amazed how much is still done by hand, farming, crafts, etc. We also sell custom silicone wristbands, like the yellow Lance Armstrong bands. We already import our wristbands from China, so we were able to meet our supplier and also acquired a new supplier and we're able to visit their factory. We were able to see the process of how the silicone bands are created. Also view the process of other items being created, PVC items, frames, keychains, badges, so much -all hand made and the detail hand painted. I could go on and on - we were fascinated. Anyway, not to bore everyone, but this trip was one of a life time. We went for business as our priority but made the trip long enough to include sight-seeing. It was great to see the history and learn about a total different culture. Back to my stuffed animals - watch soon as I will launch my own line of plush toys, really they're stuffed animals and they will be called ... have to wait for the big announcement! :) Anyway as I said, we accomplished all we'd wished for by finding the sources to be able to import my toy animals and making new contacts for our silicone wristbands. In closing, the hardest part of traveling is adjusting to the time difference, it took us about 4-5 days to change to the 13-hour time frame difference, and still have my days and nights mixed up! Hopefully a day or two and we'll be back on track. Thanks for listening/reading and keep a check on my store stuffed-plush-animals when time permits, but I'll be sure to post when I introduce my new line of stuffed plush animals!
