Retaliatory Negative FeedbackPosted Apr-05-08 22:13:46 PDT I've recently experienced a retaliatory negative feedback from a Seller who had me shaking my head is total disgust and disbelief. Last week, I did a BUY IT NOW (and paid immediately, I might add) of Shaun T's Rockin Body DVD Set by BeachBody. This past Tuesday, 4/1/08, I received the package which included 2 DVDs of the workout in the standard plastic DVD case, and a lone CD in a paper CD sleeve -- which I thought was a bit unusual. I opened the DVD case and the DVD was on the left side (1st red flag). Obviously, the title cover was inserted upside down. Then, I see that the label on the actual disc was printed from an inkjet printer (2nd red flag). I should know because I have a DVD/CD label maker and an inkjet printer. Finally, I popped into my computer the lone CD and proceeded to view PDF documents of the User Guides, the nutritional tips, and all other printed materials -- these were scans of the originals (3rd & final red flag)! In fact, you couldn't even read them unless they were magnified on your computer! And then, I started thinking that I paid $45 plus $8 shipping for pirated copies of DVDs that probably cost this Seller $10 to copy AND ship out! I left him a negative feedback for the obvious reasons. And he retaliated by giving me a negative feedback and claiming 2 untruths: (1) that's how the product came from BeachBody and says he's the got receipt to prove it, and (2) he claims to have refunded me my money. Now, I'm frickin' angry with the blatant lies! I've contacted BeachBody directly and forwarded this Seller's information, and reported him on eBay. I also sent him an email calling him on his lies and of course, he hasn't responded . . . I won't hold my breath on this one. Unfortunately, another eBayer purchased the same DVD set from him and she contacted me saying that she's received a pirated copy too. In looking at his feedback page, it seems that he sells quite a few of these DVDs, and apparently, he's made some Buyers happy -- I guess I'm just one of the unlucky ones. What a waste of time and energy, and it's such a sad commentary about this particular Seller. Oh well, as they say, "Ces't la vie!" |
