any photobucket experts around?

looking for someone that really knows the answer, not just guessing at it.

I have a site with several hundred items on it,  each item has this one picture in it.   I need to change that picture and really dont want to revise each and every listing.

My question is, if i delete a pic in photobucket and replace it with the new pic and name it the same exact name as the other pic,   will it replace the picture in all those listings?

hope this makes sense.

The question makes sense, but... don't know for sure what will happen. Maybe you could make a dummy listing with a different pic, then expirement to see what happens when you change it?

well i remember a while back some template designer had her template stolen, and she changed the pics so that the template was saying it was stolen, i dont remember who that was or i would ask them.

I also believe the answer is yes. I have done the same thing, although not on photobucket and on a much smaller scale.

If you delete it all of your links will fail. Don't know how to replace it though...

The way I THOUGHT we could do it is not working....go to www.photobucket.com....HELP....LINKING.....I don't know if you used Direct Link or HTML...LINK....their is good information there.,,,,

Sorry I was not more help....I KNOW it can be done though as it has been done.....If I get more time I will play with it.
