Hi Everyone
Lately you may have heard about Bill C51 in the news. This bill is set to go through the second reading before parliament breaks for summer. This Bill has the potential to take away our rights and freedoms to access the safe and affective alternative remedies we choose to use for the betterment of our health. Our access to vitamins, minerals, herbs and homeopathic remedies could be blocked by the requirement of a prescription only available through conventional medical doctors. Some will even be taken off the market altogether, actually becoming illegal substances! It has been my experience that conventional doctors baulk at the efficacy of natural medicine and are quick to prescribe pharmaceuticals. I believe my family is as healthy as we are today because of the care of our Naturopathic Doctor and the alternative remedies we have used over the years. I believe our rights and freedoms are being infringed upon under this bill. Our voices must be heard.
