It's not so much that I'm terribly lonely... although I love a friendly chatty email as much as the next gossipy girlie - but when there's a problem why don't people just email me before breaking out the negs 'n' neuts???

I consider myself a good eBayer, and I check all of my items over before they are sent out... but tonight I've got a neutral feedback on a mascara that was factory sealed - and so obviously I couldn't check it properly. 

These mascara were specially made in red mock croc packaging for a set that went on sale in December on our favourite shopping channel so they're not particularly old - but as I say, I couldn't check something that was factory sealed.

I do give refunds for goods that are faulty though... and reply to emails the same day usually. (sleep permitting!)

So why can't people just email????

Is it because they expect eBay sellers to be dodgy? (We all know some of 'em are!)

Is it because they themselves wouldn't be helpful in this situation - so they don't expect anyone else to be?

Is it sheer bloodymindedness maybe?
