Trick Or Treat!

Tough one .

Make it the Coolest homemade costume if you are handy with the sewing machine.

First off I am a 43 year old man without any children that I know of. It sounds like so many sitcoms where inlaws or sisters buy the same dress. I don't think its WRONG and I don't know what kind of community you live in. If its one of those where the moms try to out do each other an be en vouge than try something else from an older movie that no one could think up yet without hurting your daughters feelings.A movie or sitcom from the 70's that they have made a remake of. If she really wants to be the Island Princess let her and you and the other moms have something to gossip about for the next month. I am originally from Long Island NY and have been living in a small hick town in Tennessee for the last 3 years. Gossip was invented here! I have a few ideas but I hate to see another mom read this and steal "your" idea.

Hi, Let your 5 year old daughter be whatever she wants to be for Halloween. If there are 50 million other Barbies right there w/ your daughter, who cares? My mother never let us dress as we wanted to. She decided what my sister and I wanted our own costumes to be. :(

Halloween is not a competition and life is far too short. Good luck. :)

Thanks for all the comments I'm gonna get her the Barbie Island Princess costume, Faerylure your right, I hated the fact that my mom didn't put effort into our clothes or costumes so I guess I'm trying to overdo it, but it's not fair to my daughter, besides as long as she's happy is all that matters!
