E-BAY CONDONED FRAUD???

Has anybody else hit a brick wall when having trouble with a seller??. and I mean real trouble, not a wrong color or size.does anyone has a good explanation as to why e-bay will go to bat for a seller when he runs into a problem, but will force a buyer to bend over backwards(and maybe some other direction,if you know what i mean!) in order to avoid acting against a seller?.

let me write this, and see if it makes sense: a seller risks,at most, having someone buying something, either at auction or by other means, and backing out or otherwise not going through with their end of the bargain.seller will not send the goods without getting paid first.so the most he will lose is time.annoying, yes, but not such a big deal.

As a buyer, you're supposed to send,at least,a deposit on whatever you bought;after that, you are at the mercy of the seller.what happens if seller decides that he did not get as much money as he could have??.in my experience so far,all he needs to do is ignore communications from buyer, play dumb for a while, and after 10 days(the time e-bay forces buyers to wait before they allow you to file the beggining of a complaint)start sending the buyer e-mails complaining that the buyer has not complied with the terms of agreement.now he can say,and prove to e-bay,that he has made a good will effort and the buyer is at fault.next, file a complaint for non-payment against the same buyer he has been hiding from, and Voila!!.end of problem,at least for the seller.the buyer?,you're on your own!.e-bay will not contact the seller on buyer's behalf, but it will contact buyer in seller's behalf.non-payment is a cardinal sin;seller's non-performance?.there must be extenuating circumstances!.e-bay's policies and by-laws are biased against the buyers, and worded in a way that fertilizes a ground already suitable for fraud.changes are needed, where everyone is protected, buyers and sellers, and new mechanisms need to be implemented to act quickly when trouble arises.for starters,do away with that 10 day rule; if buyer is obligated to send a deposit within a fixed time period, why should the seller not be obligated likewise to respond and act within a reasonable period of time?.by the time the 10 days are over,my fraud prone seller would be in mexico sipping margaritas with my deposit!.shaking on his boots,of course, with the threat of "restricted trading" from e-bay,but sipping anyway.

The buyers are the ones that stand to lose the most;selling on e-bay has a sort of built-in protection device: No money,No honey.bothersome having to re-list,but no real money lost.until e-bay revises their ways,BUYER BEWARE.
