Slow Payers Annoy Me

I have been on ebay for a few years now, and one thing I learned is that when I win an auction, I will have to pay sooner or later. I always make it a point to pay IMMEDIATELY. One thing that I don't understand is last minute bid snipers, who have time to bid at the very last minute, but don't have and extra minute to simply log into Paypal to pay me. I end up having to wait around for them to pay, and I am forced to go the the post office on a day I don't want to. I just have a dream that everyone pays sellers as soon as they win, (if they're near a computer that is). It would save me several trips to the post office, it would be so awesome to ship everything at once the next day. UNITE BUYERS, and pay right away, it would be a better quality of life on eBay.

i always pay immediately unless i win over night or while out and about. But never over 24 hours. Never.

Yep I agree Evabigman, unless its an overnight win, I never wait 24 hours. Some of my past buyers took a week! And f4chphantom, DITTO! Ship/ pay fast, it'll make Ebay more efficient =)

I agree! They are right there to snipe, then gone when its time to pay! My auctions say due at closing, they still wait days. As a seller, I like to get things done right away and move on, not linger over an item for a week.... good post!

I agree. When I buy, its usually within the last few minutes of bidding, and I do pay immediately. The only exception is when I know I will be away and place my maximum. As soon as I get to the computer the first thing I do is check to see if I won, and then I pay immediately. I believe everyone should do this. And if buyers are sending a money order they should let you know and let you know when it's mailed. I once waited two weeks to get a money order. If its going to take you that long - just don't bother.
