As a newcomer to ebay, I am anxiously waiting for my first winning bid to come through.  It's an exciting walkabout through the internet jungle to get to that hidden treasure you have been seeking - like Nascar or Bingo...running out of gas on the last lap or one number away from the blackout...ever so close, yet so far.  I have bidded on a similar item on two different auctions, so excited with knots in my stomach and palms sweating, waiting for that message to say YOU WON just to learn both times I was outbid at the last moment.  I am currently bidding on that same item....keeping fingers crossed, saying prayers, that this will be my first win...forget Daytona...it's the Brickyard Baby!!!!!!  With the help of some tips from some savvy bidders I have learned a few tricks of the trade with this newest bidding attempt.  If I had learned from these masters then it definitely will be the thrill of the first win!
