Selling OverseasPosted Mar-11-07 13:43:03 PDT Has anyone had good experiences selling overseas? We just got totally burned selling a laptop. The buyer kt_temp12t8q (in Russia) talked such a good talk before the transaction. Come to find out, he paid with a stolen PayPal account. I am not allowed to say specifically that in the Feedback so I am saying it here. Please pass the word and put this buyer on your BLOCKED BIDDER list. I don't want anyone else to have to go through what we have been through. We totally expect nasty negative feedback from this fraudulent buyer who has cost us money, time and much stres. Ebay says they can't block the Feedback so we just have to wait for it. Earlier this week we had an auction pulled because we sell worldwide and we had listed Eternity for Men by Calvin Klein. Well, it seems that International Laws in Germany state that items such as this must have a COMPLETE refund policy including freight BOTH ways. Also, name, address, phone number and probably blood type (I didn't ask on that, however) have to be included in the description. WELL NOW, I don't know about anyone else, but I am not going to sell to Germany now. Is anyone doing well with sellling overseas? I suppose we can continue to offer our books overseas... but then again.. what if there is a four-letter word or some skin showing and I accidentally ship to a Muslim country? Will I be arrested? What if a kit with a blade in it accidentally goes to Ireland? Will my store be seized? And O. MY. Stars. What if something Made In China gets SHIPPED BACK TO CHINA??? Will the world trade balance suddenly fall into inequality... the stock markets start to quiver.. jobs start to be shifted... perhaps... just maybe... eBay comes to a crashing halt???? ok, I can calm down a little. maybe. perhaps. after a long nap.
have a great day! ShesTheQueen(definitely in my own mind today)
