Yay! I had planned to open this store since the middle of 2007. And thank God, it happens. Actually, I've been selling Indonesian weapons since March 2006. At that time, paypal was not available for Indonesia and I could only receive payment by WU or bank transfer. I guess that made my selling slow. In March 2007, my friends and I started selling. And this time, paypal was available for us here. The response we've got is more than we've ever expected. Much much better. At the end of November 2007, I decided to sell Indonesian knives and blades by myself and my wife. By December 2007, Maranggi Knives Store was opened. We listed 6 items and when the auction ended, I was very surprised. All of the pieces were bid :) and within the next day, 5 of 6 winners have paid me. And we started to send the items the day after the auction ended. I'm very grateful and greatly appreciate all of our bidders and winners for their trust. It's very rare that a seller can sell 100% on their first auction and their first ebay store. I have a lot of plans for this store, Indonesian knives and blades and our craftsmen. But everything takes time and I find this proverb very suitable for me, "Sedikit demi sedikit, lama-lama jadi bukit". Meaning, making efforts gradually and continuously to reach success. Again, thank to all of you 'Out There' who have been kind to us :) Noviar, the.maranggi and the craftsmen |
