THE EBAY IDIOTS WHO HAVE A RULE TO THEMSELVES!!!

Why when you are having a good day, the sun is shining, you are feeling one with the world, you are getting some nice feedback and your sales are going well, does one idiot decide to mess it all up.

I am not happy with this item send me a full refund or I will contact eBay!!!

Go on how many of you have had this type of eBay idiot?
Or there is the other eBay idiot:

Send me a full refund plus the cost of posting it back to you!!!!

Equally as idiotic and yet another example of an eBayer not reading the rules and regulations. On top of this you get the: Greater Spotted EBay Idiot. Go on you all must have had this one.

A negative saying: Item does not match description. Or something like that. There are rules and regulations for feedback and it states it quite clearly on the feedback page when you are leaving feedback:

EBay states: Before you leave negative or neutral Feedback, please take the following steps:

Contact your trading partner, Send an email using Contact an eBay member, Request contact information, and call your trading partner.

Allow adequate time, regular domestic mail can take up to two weeks, media mail can take up to six weeks, and international mail can take even longer to deliver.

Does this really get you down? You follow all the rules as best as you can and the: Greater Spotted EBay Idiot,  who does not care about the regulations or can not read, give you some hassle that could have easily been sorted out my a simple message saying: I am not happy with this item.  Yippee, now with this type of eBayer you can try and solve the problem or at least go part way to doing so.

It is easy just to send that little message which can be solved quickly. Rather than the hassle of giving them negative feedback, telling them the rules that they have broken, negotiating a solution then using Mutual Feedback Withdrawal. Or even one stop further and using Square Trade. All this can take weeks to solve.

If they did not want to message you then why can they not use the proper channels and contact eBay or PayPal? They have forms that will easily solve the problem within a few days. You are also using a middleman to solve it rather than one to one but that no problem as using this method is usually idiot proof as long as you answer all the emails from eBay or PayPal as you only has a certain time limit.

Then there is the: Greater Crested Idiot, who knows that if he uses eBay he is going to get ripped off and looks for any minute way to argue his case with you.

There is a small mark on the DVD which was not mentioned in the write up I want my money back!!!!!!

Great the DVD was sealed what do they want you to do open it and check it out. Then it won’t be new because it has been opened. Or the picture quite clearly shows the mark.

I also put in this class the Postal Idiot.

The item was broken when I received it so I have thrown it away and want a full refund.

Aaaaargh!!!!!! You would not have posted it broken or loose so why are they blaming you. The Postal Service broke it and there are claim forms which sometimes need photographic evidence. Or you get a neutral saying it took ages to get there. If you have a proof of postage and done your postage through PayPal they get an email saying that you have posted the item on that day. If it then takes 2 weeks to get there it’s not your fault it’s the Postal Service again. Unfortunately eBay’s new feedback programme is slightly flawed with this bit about length of time it took to post.

That is enough for this time. Please put your comments and list your eBay idiots then hopefully some one will get the message and do it right.

My biggest ebay idiot was my first negative. I was selling a faux version of cool water perfume...which was clearly stated...smells like "Cold water" it was actually called "cold water" you know those designer imposters? Anyways, my ebay idiot never contacted me and wrote a negative saying"This is not the original cold water" lol, I had to laugh because it was the original cold water, not cool water. some people just dont read descriptions!

I feeling your pain houseshop. I was having a WONDERFULLY pleasant day and then an idiot and not the only one of the day either. UGH. You have to chalk it up to people just being as*holes, plain and simple. I TRULY think that there are people who ENJOY leaving negative feedback and complaining about things the WRONG way. Read my blog about my malicious bidder today. 3 DIFFERENT id's all to leave me negative feedback. It never ends does it? Push yourself away from the computer and go outside and breathe in the air and know that you do all you can as a seller and we can't please everyone. Have a great REST of the day:o)

Is the world going mad? Have I missed something?
I have just received a neutral feedback for one of my best sellers which is an old CD or DVD refaced with a white front and then printed with beer label or whisky label.
The one in question was for - SCOTCH WHISKY LABEL GLENFIDDICH CD QUARTZ WALL CLOCK.
The advert explains all about it, and here is the neutral feedback.
THE CLOCK WAS MADE FROM A COMPUTOR DISC
Now can anyone see a small problem with this?
Can this be a new breed of eBay idiot? Or has the buyer mad a genuine mistake?
Stay tuned and we will find out.

Yet another one who does not read the adverts properly.

Again eBay say please read the entire advert before bidding. But how many times have you had it where the buyer then wants a full refund or something else because they did not read the advert properly.

If you do so then you have lost out.

Yes eBay and PayPal give you there fees back but who gives you the original postage price back?

You the seller loose out because of some idiots mistake.

'I have watched it and didn't like it can I have my money back.'
What the blue blazing hell do you think I am a rental service?
I feel like reaching into the comp grabbing them by the neck and shaking some sence into them.
And by the way the answer was NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the thing is some people, even sellers, take other people for suckers, just because they don't react favorably to beeing scammed. Take my last purchase: "New and sealed" was "Copy and sealed", and "courtecy and normal practice" should have me contact seller for a refund?! How many minutes in a day? Next time it happens, and it WILL happen again, this fraudulent behavior, I will not hesitate one second with a neutral or negative feedback. "Oh, I have to contact my supplier - he has given me faulty goods!" Yeah, right!

I purposely pay for the majority my items as soon as I win them. I expect just a little bit of speedy service in return. Anyway, my idiot was one which was selling books, one of which I needed urgently for college. 6 weeks later and an international phone call from me...... no book. So, I complained to ebay and paypal and got my money back. Fair enough. THEN, the idiot had the cheek to give me a one word neg feedback saying 'Avoid'. There seems to be a lot of fraudsters out there and I am now very careful who I buy from. Oh and Houseshop... weres my DVD? I been waitng over 7 hours now. If I dont have it tomorrow I'm leaving neg feedback. heehee only jokin.

Yes even as a seller and a buyer I can see idiots on both sides of the fence. Unfortunatly this new feedback puts the seller on the back foot and we have to be very nice to the buyers now or we get hit with a negative which we now can do nothing against. So all you idiots out there in the eyes of eBay 'Idiots rule ok'

I agree totally with Houseshop, the justice is lacking - as a buyer I try to be fair and positive with every contact I make when buying! In the years I have been on these boards I have had a lot of bad c**p happen to me, from being sold fakes to having my account stolen!

It is a Buyers market but please remember that there are rougue traders out there who mess the honest and decent traders about! Only recently have I left my first (and hopefully only) neg feedback to a Seller who had concert tickets for sale but obviously did not like the paltry sum they went for and sold them elsewhere or used them theirselves! I am still waiting for PayPal to refund me!

Nehowz, the oness is on the faithfull and fair to keep the rules and abide by Our sense of decency not to defraud or misled anyone, be they Buyer or Seller - that is what makes the community great!
