Most Recent Posts Text ThievesPosted Mar-23-08 10:46:46 PDT Updated Sep-30-08 08:55:38 PDT Two sellers, rvmarineproducts and teambeaver7, chose to copy lines of text word-for-word from my listings and paste it into their listings representing it as their own words. When I complained to the users, I was ignored as expected. A thief is a thief and can't be expected to do more. But the response by eBay was pitiful and lame. When confronted with visual proof of copy from the offending listings as compared to my listings, eBay chose to say that they could not see the word-for-word plagiarism. It was so plain that Ray Charles and Helen Keller could see it. I work hard to describe my listings accurately and thoroughly. To have two lazy sellers steal parts of my desription and then to have eBay ignore it, shows me that the rules and regulations have no teeth and aren't worth the paper they are printed on or the rules are selectively enforced. Watch out for these two! Watch out for eBay! They aren't watching out for you!
