Andy Irons recently defeated floridian Cory Lopez, former pipe master Rob Machado, and rival and current world champ Kelly Slater to win this years' triple crown and the 06' pipe master title.  This final heat will go down as one of the best finals in pipe master history.  Irons scored a perfect 10 going right backdoor pipe, and another ride of 9+ to take down the title.  Conditions were held in classic winter pipeline 8 to 10 foot swells.  This win solidifies the rivalry between Irons and Slater, so check back next year to see how this competition plays out!

NEW LTD AND LAMAR SNOWBOARDS, NEW SECTOR 9 LONGBOARDS, NEW STOKED LONGBOARDS, AND THE 3RD ANNUAL STOKE SHOP SURF TRIP 

November is shaping up to be very busy for us at The Stoke Shop.  We have received a huge shipment of LTD and Lamar snowboards.  These boards are looking sick and we now have a wider selection out there for you women snowboarders!  New Sector Nine longboards are also on the way, and Casey has been pumping out new Stoked Longboards that are ready to purchase.  We had a record month in sales for October, and thanks so much for all of you who purchased from us.  We appreciate your business and we hope you will check with us again!  We are also approaching an Ebay milestone:  A 100 feedback score with no red marks against us!  We will be out of town starting Wednesday November 8th for a few days for our annual surf trip.  Our destination this year will be Mission Beach, San Diego.  Look for us out in the water, longboarding on the boardwalk, and hanging out at The Wave House.  Look for some photos from our trip on our Ebay World page next week.  We look forward to doing business with you, and remember that The Stoke Shop is here for your Christmas gift needs!

Kelly Slater recently won his 2nd WCT Surfing Title in a row, and his 8th overall Championship Title. Number 8 gives Slater the record for most championships in a career, passing Austrailian hero Mark Richards. Slater's most recent title was clinched at the Mundaka Pro on the shores of France. The title race is over, but a few events are still on the calendar: Next stop, Brazil. Congrats to SL8TR!!

     Mick Fanning has won the latest round on pro surfing's WCT Tour.  Australian Mick Fanning edged out fellow aussie Taj Burrow in the famous right hand point break at J-Bay, South Africa.  Kelly Slater still holds a small lead in "the dream tour" standings ahead of Andy Irons and tour rookie Bobby Martinez.  The next stop for the tour brings the pros to US shores, at the Boost Mobile Pro at Trestles, Ca. 

     Our summer vacation has wrapped up and The Stoke Shop is again open for business again.  Fun was had by young and old, and big and small.  We vactioned in Pismo Beach California and caught our share of some tasty summertime waves.  We also visited Disneyland, went wine tasting, had good conversations into the cool nights, and barbequed every night.  Now that our fun is done, we look forward to getting back to what we enjoy the most, providing you with top brand snowboards and longboards!  New snowboards will be arriving in the next couple weeks, and our newest batch of Stoked Longboards is currently under construction!

     Congratulations to Andy Irons on winning the Rip Curl Pro Search surf event today.  The contest was held "somewhere in Mexico" at a right hand beachbreak known only as "La Jolla".  Irons win moves him up into 2nd place behind 7-time ASP Champion Kelly Slater on the 2006 tour.  The next event is to be held at famous Jeffrey's Bay South Africa in early July.
