Internet Explorer issues, any idea?Posted Jul-07-08 12:35:23 PDT I was wondering if anyone may have suggestions for this. Just recently an issue began with my IE7. If I have multiple windows open and close one, I get one of those pop ups that IE has experienced an issue and needs to close. I send the error report and let it close my browser. This happens multiple times a day.
I tried calling Microsoft, but they want me to pay $59 for the privilage of fixing their buggy software. Obviously I am not going to do that.
I then tried using their self help options on their website. The first suggestions is to make sure all your updates are current. I tried this. After searching for updates I then received this message on the microsoft site "The website has encountered a problem and cannot display the page you are trying to view." It also says "Microsoft Online Assisted Support (no-cost for Windows Update issues) " Well I tried calling them back, and again they want to charge me $59. HUH?!? They want me to pay $59 for a problem with their WEBSITE?!? So, I am reaching out to the community to see if there are any rational people with some suggestions, cause obviously I won't find those at Microsoft. Thanks!!!
