About Me  | Most Recent Posts Thieves on EbayPosted Dec-15-07 20:02:00 PST There is a certain "store" on eBay that is taking peoples money for won auctions and then not sending the items. This happened to me recently with WICKEDCHASETOYS. I bid on Hot Wheels Collector's Set. I won it. After I paid for it I got a message telling me not to pay for it. Since I already did I wrote them a message asking them to refund my payment. After a few weeks I still did not receive my refund and they would not communicate with me. I ended up making a dispute with PayPal. PayPal gave me my money back after deciding in my favor in the dispute. WICKEDCHASETOYS would not answer any of my attempts to discuss the refund and would also not answer e-mails from either PayPal or me while the dispute was active. Now that the dispute is over, I received my refund, and I gave WICKEDCHASETOYS negative feedback WCT now is trying to communicate with me. They want me to take back my feedback. In the last attempt WCT said that they were concerned that my feedback rating is hurt but I am willing to "take one for the team" if it makes others aware of the tactics they are using to scam people. My main concern is that others heed my warning and be very careful when bidding on any auctions from WCT! I was lucky but you may not be. Good luck! |
