I was just inform that USPS don't know their geography!!!

kandj - just inform me that my items been shipped out from CA but she is in Chicago and I live in FL!!!  Why did USPS thought FL was west of her instead of Southeast!!! 

I am eagerly watching my candle snuffer's journey!!!  LOL!!!

I took a package into a small local town to ship to China. The post office didn't know how to ship to China!! I didn't think that this could happen today. I had to wait two days to get to a larger post office where it mattered to know the procedures. But, I do love those small towns for other reasons.

Yes I sometimes go to small town post office that employ 1 person!!! But it close at 4 and I get out of work at 4 so it depend if I leave early.

Here's a good one for you....International shipping charges for a package going to NEW MEXICO....that's right...lol. Seems some post offices/postal workers are still just a little bit lost.

We have a pseudo-post office at the local drug store - they are pretty modern, but the woman at the counter is sooooo slooooow. lol. I always butt in (the VERY LOONG) line and say, "these are ready to ship", cuz I print my postage at home. Most of the time I have them picked up, but sometimes I just like to get out of the house, hehe.
I could go to the official PO, but that's a further 10 minutes away. Besides, the drug store is fun - they have a gift shop/tanning/convenience store/video rentals/liquor store....lol, you name it! All rolled into one.
