They don't know that I am deaf! I don't know who live under me. I never see them. Honestly, I have only see the family with 2 kids but I think they move and an old man who will relax and smoke on the stair. that live on the 3rd floor somewhere. But I know it is apt under me.

That how my mom got my attention when I was upstair. My bedroom is above kitchen and she get the broom and bang on the ceiling and I will feel it thru my feet and come down to see what my mom wanted.

Yep!!! But if I leave the apt, I will actually not hear it and then go downstair and I know where the music coming from when I stand by the door.

My aunt did tell me as I took her and my cousin home at 11:30 pm that it is very noisy. I told her what do you hear. She said kids playing and people talking on the balcony. I didn't hear anything.

well that good but in this type of position when you want to relax not that good lol how about trying to write a note them knock on the door and hand it to them they might get the hint or a tleast tell your building manager about it

tj..they make phones that you can get thru companies like AAA that are emergency (for traveling ) phones only and will allow you to dial 911 in an emergency..the phone is listed to you and the police would have your address should you ever need them. They are not that expensive, and there may be other orginizations that have such phones also..
just a thought..
