TJ's Silent Blog!!! Where is my grape jelly????

Which one are you???

I am going to make up an example.

This is couple people who don't have a lot of friend and they are nice but just different personality.  Some people prefer just few close friend.

There is another group and there is many people and these people enjoy having social and really don't require close friends and just like hanging out with people.

The Person A with few friends or no friend made a decision to get a new car and suddenly other people told him that is an ugly car and you made the wrong decision to get that car and basically pulling them down.

Now Person B from "popular" group get a new car and have got a new car in exalt same color and brand and style than the Person A.  But people say "WOW, nice car!!  AWEsome!!  It is beautiful" and they go out and buy themselves one too!!

Now what is the difference between Person A and Person B?

What is the difference between Person A's car and Person B's car?

You can be in the social and popular group and still be nice to Person A.  It is just their personality as being people person.  I know someone like that I enjoy being around but same time you can be in prefer few friends and pulling down anybody else.  I am in a few close friends but nice no matter if they are popular or not. BUT I tend to be in Person A alot!!  GRR!!!

I recently talk to another teacher in that is life where people choose who can do something and who can't.

This really happened to me.  When I was in 8th grade, one popular girl came to me and said, "You shouldn't be wearing this clothes because you are not preppy enough."  SO what!!  I brought it because it was comfortabe and I like it!

TJ ... it's hard sometimes, but you just have to understand that a lot of poeple have their priorities wrong. Not everyone in the world is like that.

Personally, I do my own thing and I've never been part of any "popular crowd" ... I was always too "something" for the popular group ... too fat, too smart, left handed, wore glasses, didn't care about designer labels (so I didn't wear the "right" clothes) ... in the end it just doesn't matter, sweetie.

Be yourself. At least that way you'll know the friends that you have are for real and not just along for the ride.

I always tell my son, as long as your happy with who you are, it doesn't matter what others opinions are. You have to live life for yourself and not others.

I was always popular in school but not because I cared what other thought, I think its because I didn't care.

Hey- Whats up~

Funny thing is, I've always marched to my own beat- And not cared who danced along with me. What is funnier, is that I was always popular for it. I have always had friends from all walks of life, -as long as the values were there, I reciprocated the friendship-

I was the 'bad boy' prep... I had friends that wore AC/DC shirts -and smelled like burning hay- I dated the cheerleaders, --I had friends from all cliques.

The most important thing is to live life for yourself. I think the confidence is to what people are attracted- not the car, plaid pants or rhinestone versace sunglasses ;)

Rock it!
