This karesansui is Daitoku-ji temple's in Kyoto. ![]() Talking of Karesansui, Ryoan-ji temple's is the most famous. (Karesansui of Ryoan-ji have never have a standard interpretation. I think that Shinnyo-Do's karesansui is the best for beginners.) ![]() Talking of Daitoku-ji, an unique monk, Ikkyu (1394-1481) is the most famous. (He rambled as having a skeleton in the city. "we have not difference in social standing. we're the same if we got a dying." was his opinion.) His childhood (almost fiction) became an animation, and was broadcated from 1975 to 1982. (The contents were solving a social problems by his wit and beat the Shogun's idea also.) Gai means Town) Kantei is Guan Yu (Kan U in Japanese). Kan U was a general under the warlord Liu Bei (Ryu Bi in Japanese) during the late Eastern Han Dynasty and Three Kingdoms era of China. He is also popular historical Chinese in Japan. He was a man who had never betrayed. And also the best thing on business is trust. That's why he became the God of business in China. Now foods from China are giving troubles to the world. But this place is no problem so far. I am a Japanese. But the foods in the town are delicious!
