Oh, and VS for the ladies =) If anyone knows anything about either the horses or the bird I'd love to hear it! None of them bear any brand marks or anything so I'm curious about what they might actually be.

Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek Going in for surgery consultation, ughPosted Aug-28-07 09:44:26 PDT In case anyone happens to look up on Thursday and say "wow, tomsmusicstuff isn't here today, I wonder where she is?" I'll be out of town, away from the computer, and very unhappy. Out of town 'cuz the closest surgeon for this sort of thing is 48 miles away. Away from the computer because...well, because I'll be sitting in a doctor's office for ages I'm sure. Unhappy because I'm gonna have major oral surgery =( I have to go for the consultation on Thursday and they'll schedule me then. NOT looking forward to this....but I guess anything's better than the decades of agony I've had with my wisdom teeth. I've been informed that it won't be the standard extraction that most people have. OHHHH no, it has to be done the UGLY way, with them basically breaking my jaw to get at those wicked little teeth way back in the back that are turned forward instead of up and down. For the first time ever I was informed that, despite testimonials to the contrary, I actually have a very small mouth. And as a result, there is no room to get any work done in there without cracking open the hinges. I feel sick. Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek There IS an eBay god!Posted Aug-26-07 11:28:35 PDT I know there is 'cuz my NPB from last week is now suspended =) And now, if she returns, I can safely leave her the feedback she deserves without fear of retaliation...well, she can retaliate all she wants, but eBay will now remove it since she'll be posting it after being suspended. And that suspension, I'll warrant, was due to the three UPI strikes I filed against her. For those of you who didn't see the post about her last week, she promised an exact date that she'd pay, then shined me on for a week without producing a single penny for three BIN auctions totaling over $30 (on which I had had many watchers and some email interest). When I filed the UPI disputes, she came out of hiding with "I won't be paying for these, sorry, family health issues"...while continuing to pay for items that she won AFTER I filed the UPIs. And now she's gone. Sometimes there is justice. To celebrate, here's my goodies that are going off today in just a couple of hours---still time to grab some good deals!

I'm a little concerned about protecting myself in the event he doesn't receive it back (or claims not to, if you know what I mean). I plan to put Delivery Confirmation on it. Is this good enough? Free Quick*Sell Gallery from ISDN*tek The GOOD news is...Posted Aug-23-07 20:46:50 PDT ...hubby found a Radio Flyer trike in excellent condition today for $3.00! Our 18-month-old loves it! I was going to save up and get him this very trike from Toys'R Us for nearly $60, and today hub walks into the Salvation Army and there one sits for less than a fiver. Awesome. The bad news is... ...he also brought home a bag full of 20 or so water squirt bottles. They were a bargain at 10 cents each on clearance at Wal-Mart...but what, pray tell, am I meant to DO with them?? Anybody in need of a bulk amount of these things? They're acid green, by the way. Maybe I can sneak them out in the trash and tell him I found a buyer on eBay who took them all off my hands, lol. Poor guy, he tries to help, he really does. I've actually got a sign up that says "If things get any worse around here, I'm going to have to ask you to stop helping." The sad thing is, we don't laugh at it, lol So I win this item yesterday, and...Posted Aug-23-07 19:27:48 PDT ...today, LESS THAN ONE FULL DAY LATER, I'm already getting mildly threatening payment reminders, as if I'm a bad customer because about 15 hours have gone by since I won. WOW. I was watching several of the seller's other items and planned on purchasing a few that end later tonight, but not anymore. I said thank you, sorry, I was watching some of your other items but I'll live without them and go ahead and pay you now. I'm mildly offended by this. I mean, I don't even THINK about reminding someone to pay unless several days have gone by without word from them. In fact, I wait until it's almost ridiculously obvious I'm never going to get paid before I do ANYTHING. And I am a GOOD buyer. I ALWAYS pay, and I pay in a timely manner. I almost always try to buy multiple items from the same seller each time I buy anything. This seller just screwed herself out of at least three more sales right now (and possibly more in the future) with this impatient behavior and the insinuation that I am taking too long to pay. Geez, as a seller I'm getting screwed by customers not paying me, and as a buyer I'm getting bullied by impatient sellers. Where can I go where I'm safe?? Some new light shed on my NPBPosted Aug-22-07 19:49:37 PDT A quick newsflash for everyone who helped out with suggestions and advice yesterday on my nonpaying bidder (I had asked for some comments on the feedback issue for this person who did 3 BINs on my items and never paid). WELL, I've been watching her eBay activity since the fiasco and people are getting paid---people she bought from AFTER she bought from me. SO. This shines a whole new light on whether or not I want to leave negative feedback. Do I? Absolutely. I was lied to. I don't take kindly to that, especially when I'm a generous-natured person and tend to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. I'll probably still do as suggested by some very wise and experienced bloggers who recommended waiting until the 90 days are almost up so she won't have as much time to retaliate. But she's getting positive feedback in the meantime from people she bought from AFTER screwing me over, so it's like a slap in the face every time I see her feedback score go up. She's got 100%, all sparkly shiny clean, with sellers gushing over what a perfect eBayer she is and how fast she pays, blah blah blah. Gah. People can be so rotten sometimes.
