Hello Everyone

I am a firm believe in prayer and the power of healing energy and today I need those things more than ever. My aunt has is in critical condition. She went home on Saturday and by Sunday she was rushed to the ER because of chest pain / shortness of breath. This morning she had another heart attack and was rushed to a hospital 100 miles from her home town. She went in for an angioplasty and from what I am told one of her arteries burst and she was bleeding uncontrolablly. The dr.'s had to recesutate her twice and they want to do open heart surgery but her heart is very weak. She is breathing with a ventilator.

I have a few aunts, but this aunt is by far one of my favorites. She is a loving, caring and funny and everyone loves her. I am anguished and so sad.

I ask that after you read this entry please say a prayer and send her some healing energies.

I am besides myself with grief and all I can do is sit here and ask for prayers and help. I wish there was more I could do for my aunt.

I have great news! Manny got a job! My prayers have been answered! I knew he would get a job in no time. He will be working for Comcast as a customer account executive.

I also want to thank everyone who sent me their thoughts and prayers and words of encouragement. I had five orders from some very generous people on EBay. Their purchases helped me buy diapers take care of some other things for the house.

I am very grateful and humbled for all the generosity shown to me. It is proof that kind and good-hearted people still exist in the crazy world we live in.

I have an update on my auntie: she did have a heart attack and will need an angioplasty. She is back home from the hospital. Thank God that the heart attack was not massive. Any heart attack, mild or whatever is bad.

I have been stressed lately with Julian and my finances and then worrying about my aunt. Thank God that Manny got a job or I would be going crazy. I have also been busy with Avon and canvassing the neighborhood with flyers and some brochures. I have a few orders already.  I am also trying to touch base with my former Avon customers.

Otherwise there is nothing new to write about. I am tired and drained, but happy and hopeful everything is going to be ok in my world.

I woke up this morning to find a wonderful surprise! Although I never imagined that my blog post would generate that much business for me, it did and I am humbled and very, very grateful to all who have purchased from the store and who have sent me your kind and uplifting comments. Words cannot express my heartfelt and sincere thanks and if in the future there is anything I can do for you, please do not hesitate to come my way.

I prayed to the Lord to send me a miracle and you guys and gals are the proof I need that miracle certainly do happen!!

So what’s new you may ask? There’s nothing new or exciting going on here. What happened to the lovely weather we were having? It’s like Mother Nature took a Spring Break and left Old Man Winter to watch over us, LOL! Yes, I heard that quote on Fox News last night from Robyn Robinson and I thought it was cute. J

Tensions are the usual here at home. Once again my childish brother is not speaking to me and all because I refuse to do as he says. He thinks he can run my life and when I tell him off, he acts all offended. Oh well, his silence is golden right now to me because I am no longer annoyed by him.

Julian is doing great! He is learning new words and he is so smart. Sometimes I forget that my baby is only two and a half. He loves baseball and is always talking about the bat (oh Lord save me!) and he like soccer too. I wish the weather would warm up so we can go play outside.

Manny and I are doing well. Manny is not exactly working right now. He lost his job on Thursday due to a discrepancy of some sort and his involvement as a union steward did not sit well with his bosses so they finally found a way to let him go. Maybe it is all for the better. It was only at matter of time before Manny keeled over from a heart-attack due to the stress from his job and from the union. Manny is very intelligent, well educated and has all that experience under his belt; I am sure he will get a job in no time. Meanwhile we will have to really buckle down and save whatever money we have to make ends meet.

Well, I am getting tired here and have a headache. I think I am going to take a nap.
