The True Meaning Of LifePosted May-06-08 08:00:16 PDT One of the most important questions to everybody is what happens to them after they die. Well I have the answer for that. There's one of two places that we can end up in after we pass away. One is heaven, the kingdom of God, the second is hell, a place you definitely don't want to end up in. Both of those places are for eternity. Now how do you know which place you'll end up in. The answer is very simple, a child can understand it. First of all, every human sins, whether it's the most evil person to the "holiest" person on earth. Sin is just part of man's nature and cannot be avoided, but sin is also what keeps us from being perfect and not being able to be with God, since God cannot sin. These sins are what dooms us to hell and there's nothing we can do to redeem ourselves of sin except for one thing, which will be later on in this blog. Over 2000 years ago, God came down to our planet to live with us as a man. That man's name was Jesus, also called Emmanuel (God with us). He did not sin once, but was crucified as a sinner when he was 33. But that was all part of God's plan for us, because Jesus didn't die for any his sins, since he committed none, but he died for our sins, so we would have a way to pay for our sins. If our sins are paid for, we can be with God in heaven, and this is what Jesus's crucifixion did. So how do we get into heaven? We (pray, confess,or tell) God that we know that we're sinners and that we have no way of doing good enough deeds to pay them off. But instead, we're going to live our lives, trusting that you God sent your only son Jesus to die and pay for our sins and that is the only way we can become righteous enough to live with God in heaven. And I tell you this, if you pray this to God and truly mean it, you'll know you're saved and going to heaven. It'll be confirmed right after, when you feel the Holy Spirit fill you heart. Believe me, there's no better feeling than this. And the thing is, it doesn't matter what you're going through right now or what your past is like, God will take you as you are. God gives us this gift from his love for us. Hope you make the right decision. |
