WHAT DO I SELL???? HERE IS THE ANSWER FOR YOU!!!!!

Hi! Lee Ward here with my first Blog post..

I think my first post should be as usefull as possible,So I will explain

Howto Discover Just Which BOOKS SELL?..Its Easy to find out,And youll find HOT NICHES too!

Learn to use ADVANCED SEARCH properly ,And it will PUT money in your Pocket EVERYDAY!

Goto Advanced Search--Then Input these 4 things ,,Input Category ,,Check-off     COMP LETED AUCTIONS,

Input the MINIMUM and MAXIMUM PRICE [i use 25$ too $1000]...Now your READY to Search!

Hit Search ,and Up pops a BUNCH of Completed Auctions in your SELECTED Category. These auctions

Show Sold for Prices ,as well as Unsold listings as well. Read thru your listings and you begin to notice SIMILARITIES! Such as in COOKBOOK category youll see CERTAIN COOKBOOKS sell Over n Over again!

Thus THOSE cookbooks are HOT SELLERS! not random sales..Ok now we are Half-way there ..So Lets say we Inputted for category COOKBOOKS,,Then Noticed some BETTY CROCKER books popping up. Hmmm we think maybe those books are a niche? So NOW instead of inputting Cookbooks ,WE input instead BETTY CROCKER and hit search ...BZZZ-SNAP-CRACKLE-POP! Up pops the Betty Crocker Sales! And we notice a Whole-BUNCH of Sales for Various Betty-Crocker Editions!  Hmmm this is more like it ,And we notice that a Certain Betty Crocker book Comes UP with a Good Price alot -So we NOW input that specific title-Such as

Betty Crocker 1960 First Edition ,Red Pie Cover CookBook,,And BLUBLUBLUBZROOOM! Up pops about 20 of em All priced Way Up there! BAM! you just discovered a NICHE! So that Everytime you SCOUT youll

Always keep an eye out for Those Betty Crocker Editions you uncovered!

I find em all the time now,As well as many others!  Its not Hard to find NICHES,and those Niches will

put the Bacon in the pot! Advanced Search isnt Just to see what a Book sold for-But rather its the Easy way

to Uncover HOT NICHE Sellers! I see Certain Hot niche sellers Everytime i look!

It doesnt Just apply to Books-But books are easy cuz Every book has a specific TITLE!

That title makes finding Niches EASY,,HEY! you could make up LISTS of Best Sellers and Sell em like many are doing today! I see lists of 50 Books of 50$ sellers selling for 20$ ! THUS This Technique will Save you a TON of Money! if your a SELLER! And Saves you money if you are a BUYER too..It works Both Ways...Hopefully ypull Find this Tactic as effective as i have,And if you can Add anything Please feel free..

Great! Believe it or not Many books of Great Collectibility are only a few yrs old! Many books are HOT -yet to look at them you wouldnt know why...To checkout a Single books status goto ADDALL.com or ABE.com and put in title ,Up pops pages of that titles status in bookstores all over To give you rough idea of approximate values..

Great suggestion, the price range search. Trains the eye to see hidden value, like Kipling's Kim

In general, stay away from modern fiction! When you are out buying for resale you have to be disciplined, in my opinion. No matter how attractive a newer novel may be, unless you know for sure that it is a collected author, do not buy it, unless of course you want to read it.

Concentrate on specific non-fiction.

Some categories that do well for me are: local history; genealogy; very old automobile; yearbooks; specific military (weapons, regiments, specific battles etc.)

I think that most coffee table books have become rather worthless.

Look for certain "flashpoints" when shopping for resale: leather, gilt, small books, poorly designed dust jackets, signed books...

Nice blog! Be back later.
