Shipment time and quality turned out amazing. I am a little sad though with the sizing. [But only a micro-scopic bit sad] I am very pleased though, it being my first successful purchase and all.I should have gone with the x-small though, oh well. I do plan on wearing a second outfit underneath it, so I suppose the excess room in needed. Next time. I recieved my second package just the other day. [A silver wig to go along with my cosplay outfit] It's amazing. x2. squared.. *rolls eyes* Anyways. Very busy today. Sorry about the short-ness! ~trantie* First eBay PurchasePosted Nov-17-07 09:16:34 PST Updated Nov-17-07 09:17:34 PST So I made my first purchase on eBay the other day, and I'm slightly concerned. I've never been one to trust online shopping; especially when my first purchase was a hundred and seventy dollar coat from a seller in China. Hopefully everything will go ok. I just can't help but have all the 'what ifs...?' What if something goes wrong with the transaction? What if I get it and the product's damage, or doesn't fit? What if I don't recieve it at all? Maybe I would have been better off starting off with a smaller purchase from a closer origin... Anyways, I'm crossing my fingers. Besides, the seller seems trustworthy, and his feedback checks out well. In case you're wondering, I bought a specialty, hand-made coat for a Cosplay I'm attending (Anime Boston '08). I'm going as Riku from the PS2 video game Kingdom Hearts II. I bought his Organization XIII jacket, but I'm holding off on the wig and keyblade for now. [FYI: a keyblade is a weapon from the game] Usually, I'm one to make my own costume and such. However, this year I've decided to use the money I would spend to make the oufit, and just buy it instead. Less hassel. Besides, I'd rather enjoy my time not stessing, and just have fun at the convention. Wish me luck! ~trantie* |
