Weird I am still getting used to this application
Anyway I do like to sew when I have the time or energy (due to chronic fatigue syndrome). I miss Australia where they used to have great big warehouses with loads of cheap fabrics and it was great.
I need to change my sense of direction, I have done a little of hand quilting rather than by machine and I found that quite theraputic. I am trying to make a cot quilt for my grand daughter maybe by the time she is out of the cot it will be finished!
I just seen a calico picture sewn in a magazine and I quite like the idea of making one of those, perhaps the little projects are better for me with CFS.
I have all these great ideas then get bogged down with housework, grandchildren etc etc
I really must set aside a sewing day whilst I can, I find that it helps me feel that at least I can achieve something.
HIya, thanks nice to know someone is out there
I have managed to make a Bratz, Thomas the Tank cushions for my grand daughters bedrooms, they are pleased with them
I also sewn a patch on my husbands jeans! Everything apart from the cot quilt - but I have put that right under the needle now so perhaps I will do some more ....
