Listing Alerts...

When you list items there should be some software implemented that recognizes the name of the item and then alerts you of things like, if the item is prone to being bought by counterfeighters. Then, before, rather than after you pay insertion fees you know any limitations that listing an item might incur. I am sure it would not require much modification to the present eBay configuration, but might cost them a little money. But it sure seems like it might save them money in the Customer Service Department, as well. So, would allowing an automated script to warn people seem like a good idea to you?   :)

See, I am still waiting for Customer Service to refund my insertion fees. eBay labelled my items as so-called items that are prone to counterfeighting and thus I was not allowed by eBay to edit my auctions and there were details that I needed to add, so I ended them. I believe that I am entitled to a refund on those fees. Does that seem logical to you?  ;)

The idea that a select few items can be considered "Items prone to counterfeighting", seems a bit silly to me. Lots of items could easily be copied without much effort in this age of technology. I will stand by my word however, that any items I list are NOT counterfeights!  :)

I HAVE A FAIRLY LOW RATING OF 34 SALES, BUT I ALSO HAVE SEVERAL REPEAT SALES THAT DO NOT COUNT IN THAT FIGURE. MY FEEDBACK SCORE IS 100% AND I AM A VERIFIED PAYPAL CUSTOMER. HOW DOES LIMITING MY ABILITY TO REVISE MY ITEMS DO ANYTHING TO STOP COUNTERFEIGHTERS FROM BUYING THEM? IF ANYTHING EBAY IS MAKING IT EASIER FOR THEM, SINCE I CANNOT REVISE PRICES OR ANYTHING. IF THIS PERSISTS, I WILL BE MOVING ALL OF MY AUCTIONS TO MY OWN DOMAIN AND STARTING A CATALOG PAGE WITH ITEMS FOR SALE. I AM OUTRAGED THAT I CAN BE CHARGED AN INSERTION FEE AND THEN HAVE THIS OCCUR, THIS IS ABSURD!!!!!
