Most Recent Posts Learning with puppetsPosted Jun-22-08 08:18:45 PDT 'Literacy and Laughter' 'It's all about developing literacy skills in a fun and entertaining way!' A course designed for children in years 1 - 6 at primary school. The three week course is designed to help children participate in a range of activities that will enrich their skills of creativity. Our puppets will play a major role in engaging the children's attention and act as a springboard to inspiring their imaginations. Alongside the element of creativity, our aim is to help the children feel more confident with their literacy skills. What will the sessions include? 10 minute circle time activity - icebreaker/question of the week. 10 minute puppet show to introduce the main teaching focus of the session. 30 minute literacy activity. 10 minute 'show and tell time' with the puppets.
