Bargainbincds

My first bad buying experience came from bargainbincds, who sent me  a pirated cd, with no liner notes. It was even missing a few songs that are on the original album. When I complained, the seller wrote me some nasty feedback, calling me an idiot, loser and said that I had no clue. He also advised other sellers not to sell to me.  He also claimed that his approval rating made my complaint ridiculous. I guess other buyers don´t care if they buy a pirated copy of a cd, and perhaps that`s why only 44 people have complained out of 80,000. Percentage-wise, that´s not so bad, although 44 people is a lot of complaints, considering that he really only has to mail them the cd (which he did promptly for me).  I also wonder how many times he bought his own cds so that he could boost his own feedback rating.

The odd thing I found out is that Ebay really doesn´t do much policing of the feedback page. Anything legally short of slander is not covered by ebay. So, much uncivilized behavior and comments remain uncensored.  Also, the Ebay complaint department, really doesn´t do much (to my knowledge) other than send you form letters, telling you that they empathize with you as a disgruntled buyer and that they are dealing with the situation. For all I know, they deleted my email.
