Seems like USPS shipping fees have gone overboard.  I had a 9 oz package to send to France.  I went to the local post office to ensure that I obtained all forms and the proper envelope since it was to be international. 

The following day, I went to a closer post office and they would not ship my item (6 month old onesie) in the envelope I had obtained the previous day.  In fact they wanted to charge me $22 to send the item to France since I could not seal it in their flat rate envelope without using tape on the corners.  They did not believe that I had gotten the envelope or the price from the other branch. 

What can weigh 4 lbs and fit in that USPS flat rate envelope without needing extra tape????  I just can't imagine anything being able to do that.
