carrying on from the hula hoops story!

I sold as I say 1000's of hula hoops along the south coast from kent ,sussex and hants down to dorset from the back of my car and sold a few dozen here and a few dozen there . My 2 daughters were living at the time in deal kent and so I would travel from portsmouth along the coast dropping hula hoops off until I got to dover,margate and other seaside places.

I also spent the summer of 2002 going to fun fairs and travelling showmen sites to sell the hula hoops as swag as well as supplying wholesalers in london and here in porstsmouth with hundred's at atime, I spent £150 on an old battered white mitsubishi van and could fit even more hula hoops in this and went to shows such as the southsea show and worthing seafront......

It ws a glorious summer of Hula Hoop selling and then I decided to branch out into other things to do with sport and in particular the love of my life!! football......I am a Pompey fan!!
When we won the championship 2002-2003 I went down to the celebrations on southsea common, put up my gazebo and just sold a few hundred Blue and white hula hoops!!! it was great coz I knew all the showmen who sold tea and burgers etc..... they gave me a great pitch for my gazebo.....

anyway all this has led to mor stories to tell!!
