Vansud's Notes

A Seller to watch out for...

My experience with the following Seller: musicsuppliers / elegantenterprises (same person) Last January, after the sale, I immediately paid $25.00 to the above Seller for a set of drum sticks, via PayPal. Not a lot of money involved I know, but it's the principle of the thing. I waited for a couple weeks. Nothing. I then, very politely began sending reminder messages. After a few messages, and another week, this seller first said that he/she was out of town, then "gee sorry," then "I have to wait to get product," then promised that the shipment was made. Nothing. I waited patiently again, etc., etc. After about 18 polite messages and almost 2 months of the same "But I shipped it again" run around, I contacted Ebay and PayPal to begin a dispute. They contacted the seller, the seller promised to ship "again." The dispute went into Limbo to see what would happen. Poiltely yet again, I contacted the seller and finally gave an ultimatum by saying that I would wait for another week, then I would be forced to elevate the dispute to an actual Claim. Sure enough, the deadline came and went. Nothing. I told Ebay and PayPal to go to Claim status. THEN...a couple days later, the Seller's package arrived in the mail. I eagerly opened the box,...AND...WRONG ITEM! I had clearly specified on the original order (and in many messages after) that I wanted WOOD TIP drumsticks, but I received NYLON TIP, which I couldn't use for what I do. By that time the Dispute/Claim had gone beyond 60-day status and I had a heck of a time getting either Ebay or PayPal to resolve the issue. FINALLY, instead of playing E-mail hell any longer, I got PayPal live on the phone. The Rep took care of my refund in 5 minutes. I don't know this Seller other than this. They are probably decent people otherwise, but I won't buy from him/her again.

atleast you got a refund I purchased from a seller via paypal for an item for my son he asked to spend his birthday money on it. Needless to say he checked the mail everyday and no item finally after awhile I filed a claim with paypal they refunded 99cents of his birtday money they said it was all the seller had in their account and if more money was to enter it they would reimburse the remainder (well that never happened) and my son was stuck with no item and a whole 99 cents.

1st, 25.00 is alot of money and 2nd if you pay 1.00 for an item, you want it or you wouldn't have purchased. I hope it works out for you.

Thanks for the support. On top of that, though, that same seller left a false Feedback response to my negative feedback remarks. Not OK in my book.
