Archive - May 2007 Colored Pencil Society of AmericaPosted May-30-07 05:29:01 PDT I was recently accepted into the CPSA, Colored Pencil Society of America. Many of my ACEO paintings have been rendered with colored pencil. Today's colored pencil work is far different from the map colors we remember from school. Many works are so highly executed it is difficult to distinguish them from oil paintings. I feel honored to be a part of this national association. Maine Coon Cats published in "Today's Pet"Posted May-23-07 22:28:13 PDT My pastel painting titled "Maine Coon Friends" was published as the cover art for the May-June issue of "Today's Pet Paper" in South Dakota. Wolf Week May 27-June 3Posted May-23-07 22:26:30 PDT I will be listing three new pastel paintings of wolves on May 24 for 10 day auctions. Watch for them to show up in the auction list. There may be more coming on the 27th or the 29th. I have also relisted some previous paintings. My relisted paintings rarely go down in price. Typically, they go up to whatever the Buy It Now price had been on the previous auction. You will always get your best and lowest price on the first time around listing. Art appreciates in value. When the paintings move to my website they go up in price. Take advantage of these low, low offerings on eBay.

Since this one is on black Mi Tientes pastel paper, I wanted it to be a lot more colorful yet still convey that the dog is primarily black.
