 | Archive - March 2007 This must be stopped!!! American Idol Redux...Posted Mar-28-07 21:04:22 PDT C'mon folks, who keeps voting for Sanjaya??? This is truly, truly a sad state of affairs. Now, I don't think Chris Sligh was going to win anytime soon, but can we not all agree that Sanjaya simply does not have the talent to share that stage with some of the others? I'm not sure if Sanjaya would have made my high school's Talent Show. So, who is voting for him? Perhaps the Association of American Hairdressers (AAH) has launched some covert campaign to keep him in the competition, only to flummox us the following week with another stranger than bizarre hair arrangement. By the way, did anyone catch Saturday Night Live this week when Andy Samberg did the impersonation of Sanjaya singing "Girl, You Really Got me Now." I almost fell of my chair. I can only hope that they do something better this week. That's it!! Now I know why Sanjaya keeps winning. Lorne Michaels must be arranging this victory in order to provide more fodder for SNL! Blake Lewis is probably the most charismatic and talented of the men. He proved it again tonight. His song choice is always fresh and different, and he always brings something new to the competition. Also, while we're at it, can somebody please put that Sanjaya guy out of my misery? Stop voting for him! C'mon already. |
