A California woman is suing Victoria's Secret after a decorative piece from a thong she was trying on flew off the garment and struck her in the eye, cutting her cornea. According to her attorney, the accident occurred as a result of a design flaw and therefore the company should be held liable. When asked to see the thong in question, the attorney refused. Question: Is this a case of excessive litigation or should the woman and her attorney be going after Victoria's Secret in a court of law? |
