what's your opinion?California Woman Suing Victoria's Secret for Thong Related Injury

A California woman is suing Victoria's Secret after a decorative piece from a thong she was trying on flew off the garment and struck her in the eye, cutting her cornea. According to her attorney, the accident occurred as a result of a design flaw and therefore the company should be held liable. When asked to see the thong in question, the attorney refused.

Question: Is this a case of excessive litigation or should the woman and her attorney be going after Victoria's Secret in a court of law?

I dunno.. she's blinded from it? I can't imagine there wasn't something very wrong with it, garments aren't supposed to fly to pieces when you put them on.

I think if there were actually a design flaw, she is entitled to have her medical bills paid and perhaps money for any time she misses from her job. It's the millions that people get for 'suffering' that is the problem.

I think it is too funny when a person suffers from a thong design flaw. if there is such a thing? Thongs tried on in the store-absurd to want to 'butt floss' in the store. then share the floss with others? a violation of infection control;--big time!
