I visited Italy over five years ago, and my memories of this beautiful country have changed my life along with my home decor.   The beautiful bowl displayed in my painting is from Italy.  It is a "Rustica Cherub Bowl" with unique engraving along with little cherub faces displayed along it's side.   

A vibrant still life, this oil painting is made up of a bottle of French Merlot, Cabarnet Sauvignon I enhanced with a wine glass and cherries placed in a crystal bowl.  I recently joined an international wine club as I love to collect and paint wine bottle scenes.   

Arizona's intense summer sun provided the perfect dramatic lighting for this vibrant and reflective still life .  You will find my decorative tin as a continuous theme througout many of my still life paintings.  "An Apple Array" is painted in multi-layers of reds, yellows, purples and gold.

A vibrant, bold and dramatic oil painting which I set up near my windowsill on a bright and sunny Arizona afternoon, this original oil is one of my favorites which I painted in an impressionistic style
