Most Recent Posts Alien, little alienPosted Jun-06-08 15:47:44 PDT I live in Russia and work for US company. While browsing the web, I usually forget about distance between Russia and USA. But sometimes I feel myself like an alien, oh no, even worse - like a hobo who is thrown out from the fancy shop. Just think about it - you've spent a day searching for a gift for you classmate. Finally you've decided, added it to shopping cart, completed all forms about delivery, packaging, gift letter and on last page where you are supposed to enter your billing info you discover that you cannot select "Russia" from long list of countries! And imagine what support says? We are very sorry, but we no longer accept orders
from Russia. We were receiving so very many fraudulent orders from Russia that we stopped accepting them all together. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, and thank you for your understanding. Hopefully, not always things are that bad! For example paiment for hosting of my website (DomIDEA.ru - фото интерьеров квартир) was absolutely smooth. So I plan to write here about my experience of Russian hobo... no, not hobo - customer - in foreign online shops :) |
