Well here goes the very first post in this new blog, Im not usually lost for words especially when ive had a couple of brews but that only happens on friday nights after the working week.

Ok My name is Richie and among many things im the owner, creator, Admin, cheif shit kicker of www.vintageoldschoolbmx.com or www.vosbmx.com for short. VOSBMX is a website based in Australia but has been put together for anyone anywhere in the world to use or join in with. I first started the site as an alternative to the current batch of vintage and old school bmx sites, just to give people a choice and maybe something a little different. It is soley funded by myself and therefore has no affiliations to any brands sure that can become expensive for me but hey i beleive that you should be able to praise and bag whoever you like without sensorship due to loyalties or deals.

For me its all about the BMX and the Golden years, i loved riding my bikes and hangin with my mates BITD. Building jumps, Racing, riding the Park and just cruising, my whole world revolved around my bike and riding and now im a little older im rediscovering my roots and loving every minute of it, come join me in reminising about some of the best times in our lives.
