Some may think this is a joke or have no belief in ghosts but in all reality Henry is really a ghost , who died on earth in the year 1939 in the United States from the State of California . He was thrown into his spiritual realm from being hit by a delivery truck while crossing a street . Henry was shown the ' light ' to leave but he decided that the pain his mom and dad were going through, sense he was their only child ,  was more holding him here bound to earth to comfort them in their sorrow . Henry is even more aware how he is interested in helping people he can see in our world as well , and he is a ghost of 19 years old so he is excited about this time period with " many new things " unheard of and never imagined in 1939 .

So now Henry has a question : He wants to write a novel about his life and asks the living people of this world to show him how . After which he will show, through his work how he became so in tuned to this time as well as how he shows other people he is home here .

Henry also says that one thing stands just about the same in this time period and it was how hard it was for him to have a proper job making a proper living so 1939,and 2007, have that very much  in common to the time frames his and ours   . So Henry wants to see his need met to help humans see him in the light of his words to show them whats its like to live the life of a ghost .
