Working from home has always been a dream of mine. I never ever thought I would have enough discipline to do it though. And so here I am. Attending those weekly auctions, (Am I becoming a regular at them?). Scanning the newspapers for the good stuff...stuff I would buy on ebay or elsewhere if I wasn't so driven to sell what I already like. And although doing ebay is a blast, honestly, right now, it is so much more time consuming for me than actually money making. The cost benefit thing isn't even right now. Not even close. Between aquiring items to list, then being overwhelmed with the AMOUNT of what I have to list...then trying to track the sales..check so frequently to make sure no message is lost. My support group..DH, parent's etc keep asking...are you making any money doing that yet....Mind you, I left a highly lucrative job a few months ago in IT to just quit it and try something brand new...something that takes me closer to my source. So...NO..I am not making A LOT of money yet..but I am very satisfied...somewhere in there success is being bred..I have to believe it...because I love the things I list..and I love seeing them leave knowing that someone PAID me for them. Good intentions go out to everyone who bids looks or ponders my things on ebay because in doing so, they are sowing the seeds of my future success and current happiness.. But, the thing is....the laundry isn't done when DH comes home. The dishes aren't done...which makes no sense because..well I HAVE BEEN HOME ALL DAY....what were you doing all day....Dare I say EBAY? ? ? Ebay isn't a real job is it?

I don't know what it is about ebay. I get busy doing other things during the day. The phone is ringing. There are errands to run and people to see and tons of things to do. Plus, it doesn't help that it doesn't get dark around here until almost 10:00 PM right now. Day light keeps me going and keeps me outside. But, ebay, well it keeps me up at night. My creative juices are going. The phone isn't ringing. We take better pictures during the day, but getting listings posted in so much easier after dark. Which comes later now than ever before. Right now, as I look around my office, there are boxes everywhere. A thing of peanuts exploded mysteriously today so those are just waiting to get stepped on and spread everywhere. And it doesn't matter really, because I am in the zone. Taking advantage of the listing sale today. But still, ebay seems to be easier late at night for me. I wish that wasn't so. Because it is late and I have a million things to do tomorrow.
