Most Recent Posts Interesting article I came across today:Posted Oct-07-08 16:54:56 PDT Dear Editor: This election is a matter of life and death ... literally. Obama chose to vote ... 'Yes': for abortion, partial-birth abortion, infanticide. My purpose for writing is to remind you about facts you may not fully understand. Abortion: 'Life begins at the moment of conception.' (Your OB-GYN doctor.) This preborn baby, chosen uniquely by God ... to be... before time began ... has an immortal soul. Partial-birth abortion: This baby is fully born alive... except for his head ... (still in the birth canal). His legs are held still, while the doctor suctions out the inside of his head. Infanticide: A 'botched' abortion ... the fully formed baby is completely born ... left on the table to die. Or thrown in a dirty hamper ...alive. What has become of our Judeo-Christian nation ... 'In God We Trust,' 'Thou shalt not kill' (Psalm 139 ... 'You did knit me together in my mothers womb ...') McCain/Palin are pro-life. Obama/Biden are pro-death. Only one issue? What's more important than life itself? What's next? Killing the elderly? (Euthanasia), the handicapped? the imperfect? Young or old, it could be you! As a child, German relatives/friends believed Hitler. 'Eliminate Jews (God's chosen people ... Jesus was a Jew!) imperfect, etc. In this election, it's vital that you vote and take others with you. Let's all pray without ceasing, fast and trust God always. 'Thy will be done.' September 30, 2008 5:52:47 am Your question is valid but your anger should be direct at all parties that have no problem taking a life. We have people professing to be christians who condone the death penalty with no problem. Life should be given and taken by the CREATOR. That is why it is so easy for people to take a life. Buckeye says... September 30, 2008 6:05:53 am The one and only thing that would even have me consider voting for Obama is that he IS Pro-Choice. As far as Euthanasia goes. I hope there's someone around who will "put me down" if I'm ever in such a position to warrant it. Notknowmuch says... September 30, 2008 6:43:17 am I plan to donate my body for medical use. But...if they had that deal like in the movie Soylent Green...what a way to go! Mz Duck says... September 30, 2008 6:44:00 am Put you down? Your not a horse. I think I would want to be kept comfortable, painless, but, I don't want to be murdered. conformno says... September 30, 2008 6:51:01 am In most diseases that you die slowly, comfortable and painless is not possible... Suffering is something that not everyone wants to do. I think those people in those situations should have a viable choice. DistractedMom says... September 30, 2008 7:14:55 am Yeah, Connie. Not only would it be uncomfortable and horrible for ME - but I'd hate to think I'd be a financial & physical burden on my family.
