Dressing Vintage

Newest Looks for Summer

Summertime is easy and the living is easy.  Throw on a frock and make it look effortless and hip. Carry a lightweight small purse or a belt purse.

Lightweight is the way to go.  Mexican dresses, gauzy angel sleeve mini dresses and tops and long t-shirts look great with strappy sandals.   T shirt dresses look great with high-top converse or with any sneaks for that matter.  Keep the sneakers colorful.

I love the look of white dresses with eyelet trim, broderie as it is called in the UK.  Topshop.com offers great combinations.  Log into the website and check out the looks there.

Bathing suit as tops are comfy and cool and will look presentable if the right suit and fit is worn.  Be careful of anything too revealing since it will look "un-pulled together".

Worn Levi jean shorts are always a classic staple.  Roll them up or wear them fringed for a 70s look.

Check out my Store: Wayfarervintage    .......  for many great pieces to fill in your summer wardrobe.
