Why you should not buy from skullsdogtownskateshop

in addition to sexually harassing me, threatening me, and otherwise creating a hostile environment, skullsdogtownskate shop leaves feedback saying that my husband and i do not pay.

this is false information and you will understand this after reading what is posted below.

just to let everyone know what kind of person you are dealing with when you buy from him i am going to post (censored) copies of emails i have received to my personal email account so that others can be aware.

this will be in order from start to most recent:

attitude can really effect business.  i sent you a message today to let you know i was planning on purchasing some more items from you.  i also apologized for not communicating that fact with you sooner.  i though you understood that i was going to pay for the item when i was done shopping with you.  i am currently watching 2 items:  a static x t-shirt and another infant outfit.  at this time the latest ending aution is still 9 days away.  payment through paypal will be sent promptly as soon as this auction ends, as i understand you offer shipping discounts for multiple items.  i am still planning on paying for this item.  if this is not good enough i suggest a mutual withdraw request.  it is up to you, whether you want to make more money or not.  please let me know what your decision will be.  i have forwarded this email to ebay customer support.
thank you for your time,

hello,

its bad for bussiness when people dont pay ! our store offers 48hrs from payment ! we dont offwe combined shipping ! part of the price of each otem is included in the shipping and handleing price ! ebay says that it you do a buy it now wich you did on the baby onsie imediate payment requiered ! so you been to pay for your onsie ! by the way after 7days of non payment it goes on your enay recored ! ebay already opened a unpaid item dispute. you have put us off 9days so just pay for what you bought !

eric and denise hinkley <user email address> wrote:
i would like to inform you of a few things that you need to clarify on your listings.  first of all, the item was "buy it now" obo.  i submitted my offer which you accepted.  i am new to ebay.  as i have learned, as both a seller and a buyer, there is not always immediate payment required when using the "buy it now" function.  this sounded strange to me at first.  i use turbo lister 2 to list my items and there is a separate box to check "immediate payment required when using buy it now feature."  secondly, there is no statement in your listing that says when you expect to receive payment for the best offer.  even if you don't offer shipping discounts, it would still be to my benefit as your customer to have all of my items on one bill.  at this point i am requesting a mutual withdraw from the item because i have never had this much problem and attitude from a seller.  i am still shopping with other seller's that i have already won an auction and not paid.  they seem to think it is great and even inform me of when they are posting new items.  i know from personal experience that being in the customer service industry is challenging and i also know from being a seller that some people on ebay do not ever pay.  i am very offended that you sit back and judge me and claim that i am one of these people.  i no longer wish to do any business with you and your store, again, i am requesting a mutual withdraw as it seems you are unwilling to compromise.
thank you for your time,
denise hinkley

your a f**king bum you never paid us ! thats the f**king problem ! the problem is f**kinh you ! dont blame us ! why do you think that ebay opens a dispute agaimst automaticly at 7 days ! becasue when you buy it you pay for it ! this isnt we give you credit to pay when you want ! you buy it then pay for it !

at which point i told him very bluntly and not nicely to shove the item up his rear because he is being a jerk.  i'm not too proud of the way i responded but one person can only take so much.  i was his customer.  imagine walking into wal-mart and having the cashier yell at you like this!  It gets worse:

at this point my husband got involved because he was furious, like any husband would be that someone was sexually harassing his wife!  he told skullsdogtownskateshop that he didn't need to talk me like that (only not in so nice of words) and that there would be consequences for doing so.

in the dispute i requested a mutual withdraw.  the user continued to nag about payment after i had already informed him that if he couldn't accomodate us, and some middle ground could not be met, i wanted a mutual withdraw.  neither of us were happy with the transaction.  but he was thinking he was going to damage my ebay account.
further messages were left in the dispute area, and he was actually counting the days that i had not paid.  I really thought he had gotten the hint but as it turns out, he was just out to damage my reputation on ebay by leaving an unpaid item strike on my account.  I posted a message telling him that i was not going to be giving my money to someone who treated me like that.  Like i really spelled it out this time.  then he claims not to know what i am talking about!  what a laugh!  i started posting his emails in the dispute, and all the sudden instead of continuing to count the days he closed the dispute.  an unpaid item strike was left on my account which i immediately appealed, forwarded the emails, and ebay immediately removed the unpaid item strike.  my husband and i tend to shop by user.  this is just more convenient for us because we can have all of our items in one package.  we are both full time students, he works, we have a 7 month old baby and only one car.  it would have just been more convenient for us to have everything shipped in one package because we are very busy and pay for shipping so that it arrives at our house.  not so that we can go to the post office to pick it up because the mailperson has tried to deliver 2 other packages so many times, and not to find time to drive 30 minutes to the nearest UPS location to pick other packages up. as a buyer, i really don't think that is a lot to ask.  furthermore, business practice is to accomodate your customer, not cuss them out, sexually harass them and otherwise treat them like dirt.
i informed the seller that i have reported him and forwarded his emails to ebay and to his ISP.  he is also an affiliate of dogtown skateboards and i reported him to that company, as well as businessreports.com and his local better business bureau.  shortly, i will be following up with dogtown skateboards, and also reporting him to the FCC and FTC.  my husband and i were advised by both ebay and his isp to file a police report, and we have contacted a lawyer for legal advice.  he sent me and message through ebay, laughing at me because i had the unpaid item strike, to which i replied that they removed because of his behavior.  at this point i thought it was over and then i received another email to my personal email account from this person:

i have reported you to ebay, yahoo, dogtown skateboards, businessreports.com, and your local better business bureau.  i am also going to report you to the fcc and the ftc.  i am filing a report with my local police department and have contacted a lawyer.  you have violated federal law.  you still continue to contact me which is further harassment.

it is funny because he is actually the one who is committing feedback extortion but is trying to tell me i am!  he is trying to intimidate me in to retracting the feed back that i left because in my comment i stated how i was sexually harassed.  in the feedback extortion page it says nothing about this and ebay's live help customer rep i spoke with said that there was no need to worry about it since he is the one who is causing the problem.  i just posted that because i think it is important that other buyer's know what they are getting into as long as this person still has their ebay store.
on top of this, this person has my personal email address AND MY HOME ADDRESS.  i doubt that he will make a trip from california to michigan but harmful things can be sent through the mail and email.  due to his behavior, i would not put it past this person to do something like that!this leaves me with a feeling of unsafety.  it is a very unfortunate event and i hate that this had to happen.  my intention is not to be hateful to someone, but i am putting this blog out there so that others are informed about this person.  hopefully, it will help others, so they do not have to deal with this type of situation.  everyone who buys and sells on ebay should not be made to feel disrespected, violated, and unsafe.  likewise, sellers have no right to treat their customers like that and harass them especially after the issue is long over.
peace be with all of you, and be aware if you choose to purchase from this seller.

Also...just so you know...ebay does not automatically file an unpaid item strike...he has to go and do it himself.

And as long as you respond to the strike...you can still leave him a negative..

wow

Also...you can get his feedback removed...it is against ebay policy to leave a negative positive....so contact ebay about that
