Debbie Mumm in 1998

I missed some great stuff going on in 1998. Debbie Mumm, an artist, put out some wonderful snowmen fabric and Sakura stonewear dishes. Since I wasn't aware of this wonderful artist I am now in the position of searching the internet and local Goodwill to procure everything that will delight my fancy, when it comes to decorating my home.

I found a hand painted 'welcome' sign first, a few years ago, and it wasn't signed by Debbie Mumm.  I am thinking someone tried to reproduce her art in a craft project. I found it at Goodwill and it hangs above my stove every Christmas season. It has three snowmen standing in front of this little house, which reminds me of my grandma's house. There is a checkerboard edge that surrounds the whole picture.

This year I found eight saucers that had the same checkerboard design on the edges. On the back I discovered the stoneware design was called Pine Cone and the artist Debbie Mumm. With just her name I was able to locate the original design using the snowmen and I have been bidding and winning all kinds of things to add to my Christmas decos, from fabric to more dishes, to poster prints. I am loving it! If you have any Sakura Debbie Mumm Pine Cone dinner ware that you want to part with, send me a message!
