Now that we have no way of warning other sellers about difficult or fraudulent bidders, the BLOCKED BIDDER page seems to be our only remaining line of defense.

There is only one word for the changes that eBay has made to its feedback policy: OUTRAGEOUS!  This has got to be the worst move eBay has ever made!  I believe that it is imperitive that we begin an extensive campaign to reverse these radical feedback changes.  Let all who read this take heed: What eBay has done here is effectively taken away the seller's right to free speech.  They have censored and gagged the very people on which their financial survival depends.  Rest assured, however, that we CAN and we WILL change this.

SPREAD THE WORD!  Everybody needs to be aware of this injustice.  Spread the word in every blog, in every chat room, in every email, in every kind of correspondence!  Let your buyers know how you feel about it by posting it FIRST at the top of every auction listing!  Make them aware of how this will affect sellers' willingness to do business on eBay, and how it will lead to an atmosphere of distrust between buyers and sellers.  Let them know how you feel about your ability to deal with fraudulent bidders has been compromised by eBay.  Let them know how you feel about your free speech rights being usurped!  Support the CAMPAIGN TO REVERSE THE FEEDBACK CHANGES!

STAND UP FOR YOUR RIGHTS!  And let eBay know how you feel.  Call them, email them.  Let them know over and over and over again every day until they finally get the message and reverse this terrible decision.

Now that we no longer have any protection or fair warning against dishonest and fraudulent bidders, maybe what we need to do is set up an independent database of "bad bidders" that all sellers can access and add to their BLOCKED BIDDER LIST.
