Archive - April 2008 My First Magic Wrap Skirt!Posted Apr-19-08 09:49:01 PDT One sunny California day, I passed my favorite ethnic store. They normally carry a great assortment of Indian and belly dancing skirts and ethnic items... That day, I saw the most beautiful purple dress draped on a mannequin near the sidewalk. "WHAT is THAT!?" I shrieked with glee, caressing the silk and falling into the mesmerizing purpleness of it all. "It's a wrap skirt!" Oh salesgirl.. tell me more! She proceeded to turn the mannequin around and show me how it was wrapped. I wanted to see it ON ME! Forget the mannequin. I love "different". I am a very creative and unique person, so having something all my own is particularly enjoyable. She draped me in one look and re-draped me in another. I was HOOKED! Were there more? Show me show me show meeeee! I was a gonner, ya'll! I bought several wraps in different prints and colors and eventually came back to the store for more. After wearing them and seeing for myself what a marvelous addition the Magic Wrap was to my wardrobe and look, I decided that I would share the magic and offer the Magic Wrap to every woman that I knew and would come to know. If you ever dreamt of one item that you could add to your wardrobe, that would truly extend your wardrobe, the Magic Wrap is it! If you get easily bored or have a little diva in you, you can change the style of your Magic Wrap as often as you go to the ladies room. Every vintage silk wrap skirt is reversible. You never have to worry about someone else walking down the street wearing the same wrap as you are wearing. You will certainly get looks of admiration and wonder, if not outright complements from men and women.
